Development
An existing enterprise zone with outline support for the development of data centres. Discovery Park is an established scientific campus with existing Artificial Intelligence research programmes that will benefit from and expand through collaborative hosting. Available on a long-term lease basis as a serviced site based upon your developed footprint (1.4 Million SF GIA shown). Or alternatively DDC can provide power enabled shells to meet your design criteria
Energy
Two independent electricity sources of 240MW capacity have been secured for the development providing full NN redundancy. Dependent upon design criteria this could remove the need for diesel generation a long term but unachieved goal of many organisations. DDC also has further development land for solar arrays and battery storage facilities with an existing onsite operational biomass facility also available
Environment
Environmental responsibility goes beyond sourcing renewable energy to the full operational cycle of a facility. DDC has onsite water processing facilities and the potential to further develop salt water cooling or desalination solutions. There will also be a connection to a district heating scheme and we are currently investigating the potential of Vertical Farming on the park
